Department of Professional & Continuing Education (DPCE)

This department offers academic credit and non-credit programs to any student across the System. Courses and programs offered by the DPCE are designed to provide students with additional pathways for development through continuing education. Students can complete 1) certificate programs – short programs, offered as IT bootcamps at DigitalCrafts – or 2) continuing education courses, including webinars, workshops, or trainings offered by any member institution. These programs may enable them to enter the workforce, advance in their career paths, or help them prepare for credential exams offered in the industry. Some of the courses may also be geared for personal or professional development.

DigitalCrafts (DC), a coding bootcamp, is included within the AIU System’s Department of Professional and Continuing Education and offers certificate programs. DC instructors have real-world experience in their fields and bring that expertise to their classrooms.
